Sample Posts

There are two main ways you can contribute to this site.

  1. You may elect to make a comment about something posted.  For instance, someone might make a post suggesting a new website, and you may use a comment box to say something like “I also found this rewarding–great site.”
  2. You may create what we call a Post.  Here, you are not commenting on existing website content.  You are creating content.  Posts should be made at the bottom of the Welcome page and will then be placed in the appropriate categories by the site’s administrators.

**When posting please follow the format found in the examples below.  Posts are designed to begin a conversation between MSU and community partner, not to fully describe the potential project.

Title:  MSU Computer Science Professor looking to get studnts practical web development experience

Date:  July 16, 2009

Description: I would like the 20 students in my advanced web development course to gain practical website development experience.  I would like to do this by having these students help one or several local non-profits build or modify their websites.  These students have experience, and I would love to see them use this experience by somehow contributing to the community.
